Thumbnail Issues

I am aware that newly-approved sites have issues with their thumbnails. I'm currently working to fix this issue. I apologize for any inconveniences this might cause.

Add to Blogger and Copy to Clipboard

Adding your blog or site is now made simpler with the addition of the "Add to Blogger" and "Copy to Clipboard" buttons. These should be self explanatory--the "Add to Blogger" button pops-up a new tab or window wherein you can instantly select one of your blogs where the referral code will be added. The "Copy to Clipboard" button is for lazy people who don't want to select the entire code.

Outbound Links Fixed

Outbound links should now properly redirect to their respective entries, and not just the parent blog. There might be cached pages that still carry the broken links, but they should roll out within the next hour.

Database Problems Fixed

The database issues should be fixed, at least those that are known. If you find others, please report it to this post. Thank you!

Hits not registering? Clear your cache

It has come to my attention that some hits do not get registered. It should now be fixed, but the old script might still linger in your cache. Just to be safe, please clear your cache by pressing Ctrl+F5 when refreshing in all modern browsers.

To Do - 2012.02.17

So, I've gotten all the basic features planned out working. What's next for link.nyo.me? Aside from actually putting it out to the public, I still have the following on my to-do list in a random order:

• Facebook / Twitter integration
  Yes, this would mean you will be able to register and sign in to the site using your FB / Twitter account. Of course, I'm planning to add this as a layer over the current authentication system, so it shouldn't conflict with what already exists.
• Link Exchange SystemThe "what-makes-link.nyo.me-different" from other site directories and link exchanges. This includes building links between sites and scoring (or penalizing) them accordingly. I already have a link checker, so this should be easy to implement. What's preventing me is the lack of participating sites.
• Featured SitesThis is actually already in the system—only the view files are missing. I don't want to put it in yet because of the lack of sites.

Hopefully,  I'll get this done in the weekend.
